History
Turner Whitehead was a farmer in rural Fannin County. He saw a need for helping people in his area protect their hard-earned assets and began selling insurance for Germania Farm Mutual Insurance Association.
Later, his daughter, Barbara Simmons, saw what a positive impact her father had made in people's lives and she decided to make a car
Turner Whitehead was a farmer in rural Fannin County. He saw a need for helping people in his area protect their hard-earned assets and began selling insurance for Germania Farm Mutual Insurance Association.
Later, his daughter, Barbara Simmons, saw what a positive impact her father had made in people's lives and she decided to make a career change from healthcare administration to insurance.
Soon after, Barbara had grown the business and decided that she needed more agents to help serve her clients well. Her daughter, June Pokorny, was a perfect fit for the industry. She is thorough, patient, and loves to help her clients. When Barbara retired, June continued the legacy.
A few years later, June hired her teenage daughter, Erica, to help out in the office part-time, while she was in high school. After college, Erica obtained her insurance license and has enjoyed serving their members for over twenty years. She especially loves hearing stories from longtime clients about her great-grandfather.

Erica has been a licensed agent for over 20years. When she's not working, she enjoys spending time with her husband (Zach), daughter (Ela), and son (Turner).
June Pokorny
June has been a licensed agent for over 35 years. In her free time, she loves spending time with her husband, kids, and especially her six grandchildren and great-grandson. June loves crafting, quilting, raising koi, and beekeeping with her husband, Rick.
